Refunds & Cancellation

Scope

This policy covers paid human-led engagements with Scalablenet: Multi-Exchange Portfolio Rebalancing Reviews, Desktop Onboarding Sessions, and Quarterly Portfolio Drift Assessments. It does not cover exchange trading fees, network fees, or Microsoft Store software licensing, which are billed by third parties.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to session fees paid directly to Scalablenet. To request a refund or cancellation, email contact@scalablenet.digital with your booking reference and preferred outcome.

Timeframes

  • Full refund: Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start (Korea Standard Time).
  • 50% refund: Cancel between 48 and 12 hours before the start.
  • No refund: Cancel within 12 hours of the start, or fail to attend (no-show), except where we cancel or a documented emergency is accepted at our discretion.

Deposits

Deposits for in-person Gangnam sessions are refundable on the same schedule as session fees. If a deposit held a room and you cancel inside the 12-hour window, the deposit is non-refundable.

Partial refunds

If we have already prepared written materials for your exchange list and you cancel inside the 48-hour window but before the session starts, we may offer a partial refund reflecting preparation already completed. That amount is stated in writing when we confirm the cancellation.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed sessions (once the live call or office meeting has begun)
  • Third-party fees (exchanges, networks, Microsoft Store)
  • Custom printed materials already produced at your request after written approval of cost

Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is allowed if requested at least 24 hours before the start. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the timeline above.

Work already started

If a remote session has begun and technical issues on our side prevent completion, we will either finish at a new time at no extra fee or refund the unused portion. Issues on your side (missing exports, unavailable keys) after the session has started do not automatically create a refund; we may offer a shortened follow-up at a reduced fee.

Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. Bank timelines may add several days after we initiate the transfer.
