Rebalancing Method
This page is for investors who already know their target weights and need a reliable sequence when capital sits on more than one exchange.
The problem we design around
Overnight price moves pull a multi-venue book off target. Manual fixes often start on the screen that is open first, not the venue with the best fee path. Transfers between Korean and offshore books add delays and minimums. Without written guards, the “quick rebalance” becomes three transfers and a fee surprise.
Method overview
1. Reconcile
Match Desktop figures to venue exports or read-only keys. Resolve pending deposits before drafting orders.
2. Guard
Lock target bands, do-not-sell assets, max slippage, and which venues may source liquidity.
3. Plan
Write a venue-ordered trade list with estimated taker/maker and withdrawal cost.
4. Settle
You place trades. We stay available until balances and Desktop weights agree again.
Where Crypto Portfolio Desktop sits
The Desktop holds your targets and drift thresholds between human sessions. It does not replace custody or auto-route capital across exchanges in our standard engagements. Think of it as the quiet overnight watch, not a trading bot.
When to book a human review
- First time connecting four or more venues
- After a large deposit or withdrawal that breaks prior bands
- When fee drag from weekly manual rebalancing feels larger than the drift you are fixing
Natural next actions
Browse engagements for session depth, or request a portfolio review with your exchange list. Desktop distribution remains on Microsoft Store.
